This Ep: Special Guest Joe Hill - NY Times bestselling author of "The Fireman" Guest: Ben Marasco - CEO, Red Deer Expo
GA is never on to shy away from a good story, and both of our guests this episode are all about GREAT stories. His new book, "The Fireman" will leave you plagued with a desire to experience more of his work. Plus, his bedtime stories with his father, Stephen King [yes, THAT Stephen King] will leave you rethinking Spiderman. Continuing our sci-fi/horror/fictional bent, Greg beams up Ben Marasco, a young entrepreneur who is opening a Stargate and bringing THE Red Deer Comic & Entertainment Expo to the sleepy village of Red Deer, Alberta (pop 108,000) June 11-12, 2016. CAUTION: Numerous references to Cosplay, global plagues with cool names & sci-fi nerdology within. Enter if you dare!

Wednesday Apr 13, 2016
This Ep: Karac Hendriks - Canadian country crooner, songwriter, recording artist, guitarist, blamer of youth
Podcast Premier of Karac's new single, "(Blame it on my) Youth"This week GA takes a break from our continuing, and relentless!, pursuit of Jann Arden (who is sequestered in a secret location recovering from her JUNO Awards co-hosting duties) to chat it up with an old friend with new music! The "Pride of ... A Point Between Heinsburg & Dewberry Alberta", Edmonton-based Karac Hendriks is a gifted musician who has played with the likes of Gord Bamford, Aaron Pritchett, Adam Gregory, and even It's A Show Guest Alumnus Tina Tuner to name but a talented few. Karac has made good on a promise to himself to record a solo project and become the employer instead of the employee. Fresh off the release of his radio single "(Blame it on My) Youth", Karac shares both the struggles and the payoffs of his extensive experiences in the music industry. Listener Warning: This episode contains awesome tuneage including Karac's first ever single as a solo artist, "Blame It On My Youth", which is guaranteed to get your feet tapping and your knees jerking.

This Ep: Super Special Pursuit Guest Allan Reid - President & CEO - CARAS, The JUNO Awards & MusiCounts
GA tries hard to act nonchalant and professional as he hosts this week's conversation with Allan Reid. Not only is he the President & CEO of The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences, the Music Counts charity & a "little" thing called The JUNO Awards [that's the Canadian equivalent of the Grammy Awards for our non-Canadian friends!] but "AR" used to be THE A&R man ["Artists & repertoire"] at A&M Records [now Universal Music Canada] & was "instrumental" in the careers of artists such as Ashley MacIsaac, Hawksley Workman, Hedley, Sam Roberts, The Tragically Hip, Sarah Harmer & more. He was also responsible for signing...you guessed it, Jann Arden, to a life changing record deal! Big deal...the real question is can this renaissance record man actually help us in the #RelentlessPursuit of Jann Arden?
Listen for the answer to that question along with anecdotes about Jann, Johnny Reid, Gord Bamford & The JUNOS in this all new episode!
Caution: Exceedingly uplifting & excellent episode. Listeners subject to bouts of euphoria & excitement. Musically speaking.

Saturday Feb 27, 2016
This Ep: Special Pursuit Guest Bruce Sellery - "Moolala" & "The Exchange" Guest: Kim Ducherer - FarmStyleWife.com
Why settle for some Ohlala! when you can have the Moolala! This episode is chock-a-block full of jewels of wisdom regarding life, limb, & lapidary. Live from a top secret, highly speculative, and totally unpronounceable location in the jungles of Vietnam, GA welcomes financial journalist & author, new host of CBC's The Exchange, and extremely well-adjusted @BruceSellery. Just in time for the Canadian RRSP deadline, "Dr. Sellery" regales us with tales ranging from tissue paper to existential Guatemalan beaches to THE ONE personal finance tip that YOU CANNOT disregard. Thankfully the Sensational Sellery, who nominates our Relentless Pursuit target Jann Arden 'one of the funniest people on twitter period. full stop." provides us with our next lead in the Relentless Pursuit of...Jann Arden. Next we welcome local Albertan, Kim Ducherer...Proud farm wife, 'beast of a Mom of two', owner of "Harriet" the '71 Chevy El Camino, stylish entrepreneur, and founder of Farm Wife Style. Popping up in Lavish Luminaries' Loot-Bags everywhere, including the Grammy's & this weekend's Oscars, Kim's obsession with Rose Gold has transformed her into THE Gregarious Goldsmith who brings 'the sass to the brass', or in this case 'the bold to the gold'. Caution: Combining Personal Financial Advice with Gold Jewelry can be tenuous. Listener indiscretion is advised.

This Ep: Special Pursuit Guest Victoria Banks Special Guest: Doreen - Greg's Mom
In this estrogen equiped episode GA welcomes multiple CCMA Award nominated, and double CCMA Award Winner - Female Artist of the Year & Songwriter of the Year (2010) - Canadian chanteuse & songwriter, Victoria Banks to the show from Nashville to talk music, mommy-hood, writing singles for artists Hey Romeo, Terri Clark, Johnny Reid as well as cross-over hit "Come on Over" for Jessica Simpson, and of course ... Jann Arden. We are treated to a mother-son interaction as Greg welcomes his Mom, Doreen, to the show who shares the lunch-box letdown moment missing Elvis Presley on the Ed Sullivan Show, and her Elvis impersonator scarf collection. All this and more (ok, maybe that's all) as we continue the Relentless Pursuit of Juno Award winning, and Alberta Ambassador of Awesome, Jann Arden. Since Victoria attended a fundraiser for Thistle Farms in Nashville where Jann performed, we figured we'd ask her to hook us up with the next connection in our pursuit. Caution: Extra-Estrogen Episode contains lots of 'mom talk". Listener discretion is ill-advised. Hug your mom.
